Close New wildfire ignites on Beech Grove Mountain Kavolshaia Howze, WBIR 6:27 AM. EST November 19, 2016 CONNECT TWEET LINKEDIN GOOGLE+ PINTEREST A new wildfire is burning hundreds of acres in Anderson County. Crews from the Briceville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire on Beech Grove Mountain off Commissary Road around 4:30 p.m. Friday. As of Friday night, the fire chief said the fire is not under control and the flames have burned between 250 to 350 acres. Crews are expect to remain on the scene through the night trying to contain it. Representatives from the Tennessee Division of Forestry will arrive in the morning.
