Ambulance company brings headquarters, 50 jobs to Knox County

(WBIR) An ambulance company announced Wednesday that Knox County will be the location of its new corporate headquarters.

A press release stated Priority Ambulance is expected to bring more than 50 jobs to the Callahan Drive location in North Knoxville.

The company's President and CEO is Bryan Gibson, who is the former CEO and General Manager of Rural/Metro.

In Knox County, the company has 15 ambulances to provide medical transport options to people in the area.

Nationwide, the company operates more than 45 ambulances and employs more than 300 paramedics and EMTs.
