KPD searches for Walgreen's armed robbery suspect

(WBIR) Knoxville police are searching for a man who robbed a north Knoxville Walgreen's Thursday night.

Officers said the suspect entered the drug store wearing a gray hoodie pulled tightly around his head. He then showed the clerk a pistol in his waistband and demanded money.

After the clerk gave the suspect the cash, the robber ran out of the store heading east on Coker Avenue.

The suspect is about 20-30 years old, 5'7" tall, and could have a tribal tattoo on the left side of his neck. The hoodie was gray and had UT orange sleeves.
