Man accused of CVS armed robbery on the run

(WBIR) Knoxville police responded to an armed robbery in a North Knoxville pharmacy Thursday at noon.

An employee told police that a man came into the CVS on 5401 Clinton Highway, demanding money from the register. The man then threatened the cashier, indicating that he had a weapon in his pocket, according to a Knoxville Police Department release. Officials said no one was hurt. No word if any money was stolen.

The employee said the man had a goatee and was wearing jeans, a white t-shirt and a black ball cap with a flat brim.

Investigators said they're working with CVS management to determine if video of the robbery is available.
