Neighbors spot house on fire, get everyone out safely

Everyone got out safely when a mobile home caught fire Tuesday afternoon in North Knox County.

Rural/Metro firefighters were called to the home on Raccoon Valley Road around 1:20 pm. When they arrived, there was heavy smoke and fire coming from the building.

At first, firefighters were told someone was still trapped inside, but it turned out that all of the occupants of the mobile home made it out, thanks to their neighbors. The people who live next door spotted the fire, called 911, then ran to the house to get two people out of the home. Apparently, the person who lived there and another neighbor who was visiting them didn't even know the home was on fire.

There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
