Vote postponed on red light cameras in Oak Ridge

City council members in Oak Ridge have postponed a vote to renew the city's contract for its red light and speed cameras.

The city council debated a proposal Monday evening to extend the contract two years or let it expire in late April.

Redflex Traffic solutions runs four cameras at intersections. The cameras catch drivers who run red lights and speed.

Council is scheduled to meet again April 14th.
