(WBIR) An overnight rollover crash, involving a car full of juveniles, killed one person and sent four others to the hospital in Knox County, Kentucky Saturday.
According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers responded to an injury crash around 2 a.m. Saturday on Turkey Creek Road in the Flatlick Community of Knox County, Ky. When they got to the scene, the vehicle was fully engulfed and the juvenile driver was trapped inside.
KSP said a 2008 Pontiac G6 was heading North when it went off the road, flipped over onto its top, and eventually burst into flames.
Authorities pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Four other juveniles were flown to UT Medical Center and University of Kentucky Medical Center. A fifth juvenile was treated at the scene and released.
The victims' names aren't being released because Kentucky State Police said the driver and all the passengers were under the age of 18.
