Tennessee squares off with Florida in blood drive competition

The 11th annual blood drive competition starts Monday.

Blood donors in Knoxville and Gainesville will compete in a blood drive competition starting Monday.

The 11th annual MEDIC Regional Blood Center competition sees which college football fan base can donate the most amount of blood. The Tennessee Volunteers football team hosts the Florida Gators at Neyland Stadium on Sept. 24.

There are places to donate throughout Knoxville, Farragut and Crossville.

Monday, Sept. 12
