Judge orders mediation for Pilot lawsuit

A lawsuit from a few remaining companies over the Pilot Flying J rebate scheme is moving forward.

Court documents show a federal judge ordered mediation for the lawsuit filed by several companies including Keystone Freight and National Retail Transportation. A hearing is scheduled for November 18th in Covington Kentucky.

Pilot earlier settled a similar class-action lawsuit for $85 million, but these companies opted out of that settlement.

Pilot also recently agreed to pay a $92 million penalty to avoid criminal charges.
