Morgan Co. receives $400,000 grant for water work

A couple thousand Morgan county residents should see improvements to their water soon, thanks to hundreds of thousand of dollars in grant money.

Morgan County officials received a $400,000 to replace old, cast iron pipe of the Old Brushy Mountain Water Treatment Plant with 6,000 feet of new PVC piping . The project will affect about 2,000 people living in the Petros community.
