Tenn. soldiers head to training then the Middle East

The 252nd military police company based in Cleveland, Tennessee and Oneida deployed Friday on a mission that will take them to the Middle East. 8-29-14

(WBIR-Cleveland) Some East Tennessee soldiers shared a goodbye breakfast with their families early Friday morning.

The 252nd Military Police Company, based in Cleveland and Oneida, are leaving for training before deployment to Kuwait and Afghanistan later this year.

According to Commander Chris Martinson, the approximately 125 men and women will be part of Operation Enduring Freedom.

They will be in training for a month, then be deployed for 10 months to a year in the Middle East.
