(WBIR-Sevierville) Two men are in custody after a crime spree where power tools were stolen from a home improvement store chain.
Curtis Hudgins, 33, and Stephen King, 42, of Seymour, were detained by Knoxville police on Friday after their car was spotted off Edington Road. That black BMW was the same one that authorities in four East Tennessee communities have been searching for since the first burglary took place on September 12.
Inside that car, police discovered a revolver and sets of power tools. The same make were the ones stolen from the Lowe's stores.
Hudgins was charged with aggravated robbery, King was charged with theft in the Sevierville case alone. Charges in the other cases in Newport, Lafollette, and Morristown are pending.
