Police ID victim killed in south Knoxville shooting

(WBIR) Knoxville police search for two men involved in a south Knoxville shooting that killed a man Sunday afternoon.

Dispatchers received a report of a shooting near the intersection of Sims Road at Cook Drive just after 3:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found Paul Shepherd, 40, of Knoxville, who was suffering from more than one gunshot wound. Crews took the Shepherd to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police they saw two men running from the crime scene. Investigators said they're still searching for the two men of interest.
