Shipping delay postpones FluMist vaccinations at Knox schools

A delay in shipping of the vaccine has prompted the Knox County Health Department to postpone its flu vaccination clinics at Knox County Schools next week.

The week of vaccinations scheduled for September 28 to October 2 will be rescheduled. The vaccines should arrive in time for the following week of vaccination clinics to proceed as normal.

This current week's vaccination clinics are expected to be completed as planned, bringing the total number of people vaccinated to about 18,000.
