A Cocke County man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash late Tuesday night.
George D. Lee, 72 and of Parrottsville, died in a crash on Highway 321 near Good Hope Road.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol got the call around 11:30 Tuesday night. It appears Lee's vehicle veered off the left side of the road, went down an embankment, and hit some large rocks in a construction zone.
The trooper on the scene saw no indication of drug or alcohol involvement but said Lee was not wearing a seatbelt.
At this point, investigators are unsure of the cause of the crash.
