The Anderson County Health Department will provide H1N1 vaccinations to area students, free of charge.
Director of Anderson County Schools Larry Foster said consent forms were sent home with students beginning Friday.The completed forms must be returned to the schools by Friday, Nov. 20.
As it's available, the nasal spray flu vaccine will be given to students who meet the criteria for general good health; injections will be available for others. Students younger than 10 will receive a second round of the vaccine about 30 days after the first vaccination.
A vaccination schedule hasn't been worked out yet between the ACHD and school system.
