12-year-old recovering after being hit by car

 A Grainger County boy is recovering after being hit by a car Sunday morning.

It happened on City Drive in Bean Station around 11 a.m. Police said the 12-year-old was riding a bicycle when he was hit.

The child was flown from the scene to UT Medical Center. His name and condition haven't been released.

Authorities said they don't suspect the driver was at fault.
