One man is dead after losing control of his vehicle and wrecking in Union County.
The accident happened on State Highway 33 in Maynardville just after 3 p.m. Monday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Freddie W. Davis, 58, of Sharps Chapel, Tenn. was driving north when he veered off the right side of the highway. According to troopers, Davis' SUV went down an embankment and flipped.
According to the report, Davis was killed in the accident.
It's not known if drugs or alcohol were involved.
Davis was wearing his seat belt.
