The Blount County Sheriff's Office said three people are behind bars following the carjacking of a Maryville woman. Deputies are still searching for a fourth suspect.

Authorities said they responded to a home on Sevierville Road just after midnight Saturday. Kimberly Sue Hatcher, 48, told deputies she was getting out of vehicle in her driveway when a man approached her. She said he threatened her with a knife and took her car keys. Hatcher told authorities the man then pushed her down and left in her Mazda, followed by another nearby vehicle.

Hatcher was transported to Blount Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.

Around 10:30 p.m., a deputy saw a vehicle on East Lincoln Road that had been reported stolen out of Knox County. A short pursuit ensued until the driver backed the stolen Camry into the front of the deputy's cruiser. Then the occupants -- the driver and a 16-year-old-passenger -- took off on foot. Authorities said they believe the driver was the same person who committed the carjacking.

Deputies said they received a tip on Sunday that the stolen Mazda was parked at Meadowood Apartments on North Wright Road. They went to the apartment complex and arrested Brittney Renee Loser, 18, of Alcoa and Christopher Douglas Dotson, 21 of Maryville. According to authorities, Dotson later confessed to stealing the car.

Further investigation revealed that a 16-year-old boy and another suspect, who still isn't in custody, were also involved. Authorities said they arrested the teenager at a home in Alcoa later that morning.

Loser is charged with two counts of criminal responsibility for facilitation of a felony. Dotson is facing charges of aggravated robbery, theft of property over $10,000, and theft of property over $10,000 by possession. The 16-year-old is also charged with aggravated robbery by delinquency, theft of a motor vehicle over $10,000 by delinquency, and theft of property over $10,000 by possession by delinquency.

Dotson and Loser are being held in the Blount County Adult Detention Facility.
