Knox County teacher Mark Foster was to appear in court Monday to face charges that he shot Inskip principal Elisa Luna and assistant principal Amy Brace earlier this month.
However, the court date has been reset to Wednesday. A representative from the District Attorney General's office said the hearing has been reset for the "convenience of the victim". Typically at this type of hearing, the state would call at least one witness to testify.
At this point, the DAG's office would not confirm who that witness is.
Assistant Principal Amy Brace was treated and released from the University of Tennessee Medical Center last week. Principal Elisa Luna was treated and UT Medical Center and transferred to a spinal-cord injury speciality hospital in Atlanta.
Mark Foster is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.
