Jewelry store burglarized

Knoxville Police are investigating the burglary of a Knoxville jeweler on Tuesday night.

Police responded to an alarm at Kimball's around 8:45 Tuesday night. They found a window on the side of the building had been broken.

Officers and police dogs searched the building and found several pieces of jewelry had been removed from the premises.

Investigators are still reviewing evidence and have not yet identified a suspect. For now, the suspect description was simply a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white athletic shoes.
