An Indiana man has been arrested and will be charged with robbing two East Tennessee banks earlier this month.
Billy Joe Dugard, 36, of Crothersville, Indiana, was arrested on local charges and without incident on May 2 in Columbus, Ohio, the day after the two bank robberies in Loudon and Kingston.
He will face two federal charges of bank robbery.

The man is suspected of robbing two East Tennessee banks on May 1.
The first was just after 3 pm on Tuesday. He entered the BB&T Bank located at 406 Grove Street in Loudon and presented a note demanding money. The suspect was described as a white male in his mid to late 30s, approximately 5'8" to 5'9" tall, and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt. The suspect also had multiple tattoos on his arms, hands, and neck area, with a prominent tattoo on the back his right hand.
At approximately 3:47 p.m., the suspect, who may have changed his t-shirt, entered the Bank of America located at 616 N. Kentucky Street in Kingston and presented a note demanding money. The suspect, with the same physical description was wearing a white t-shirt.
