Campbell Co. authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man Friday night. Tennessee Highway Patrol reports it happened just after 7:00 pm at the intersection of Della Lane and Oak Grove Rd. near Norris Lake.
Officials say Joe Wheeler, 75, was traveling east when his Ford Explorer lost control and struck a tree. Wheeler died in that crash.
The report says he was not wearing a seat belt.
