East Tennesseans with old or unwanted medications can safely dispose of the drugs this weekend.
Last month, Tennesseans turned in more than 5,800 pounds of unwanted medications as part of Prescription Take Back Day.
On Saturday, you can drop off unwanted drugs at two different locations to dispose of them properly and keep them out of the hands of children.
You can drop prescriptions off at the Walgreens on Kingston Pike across from West Town Mall, or at the Stand Office on Sheppard Road in Oneida.
Collections take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
