Egyptian Nights: My Journey Through Dance
Alexia Productions will be showcasing the amazing international dance artist Mohamed Shahin of Cairo, Egypt, the beautiful Alexandria Dancers as well as local performers such as Greg Carney a sensational hip hop free-style dancer, instructor and choreographer. Other special guest artist, Amara of Memphis, M'alin and Love Lotus of Chattanooga, and Patti and the Amarna Dancers of Maryville. This will be a one night performance only! 10% of proceeds to charity!

Knoxville Daddy Daughter Dance
Knoxville's annual Daddy Daughter Dance. The dance will be held at Knoxville's Crowne Plaza Hotel from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 15.
The Daddy Daughter Dance is open to girls of all ages. Girls may The Daddy Daughter Dance is hosted by Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians, but the event is not limited to Girl Scouts. Girls of all ages are invited to attend.
The event is sponsored by Chick-fil-A, Weigel's, Neil Studios and KnoxVegas DJs.
Tickets are $25 for a dad and one daughter and $40 for a dad and multiple daughters. Tickets may be purchased online at www.GirlScoutcsa.org or at the door, pending space availability.

Safety City Summer Hours
(information provided by Vicki Dagnan/Safety City Coordinator)
Starting Monday, June 11 Safety City will be open for use by the general public on Mondays and Thursdays only from 9a.m. until 7 p.m. through the months of June and July. Safety City is located at 165 S. Concord Street near Tyson Park.
Families may use the Safety City facility as a walking track (5 laps equals 1.25 miles), teach their children how to ride a bike or drive their battery-powered vehicles in a safe, unique environment. Parents must bring their own equipment-bicycles, helmets or cars. At least one adult must remain with their children at all times. Skateboards and motorized scooters are not permitted.
