A Memphis teenager is being remembered around the world, but we first introduced you to him when he became an honorary UT volunteer.

15-year-old Trey Erwin lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Thursday after being diagnosed back in March.

He'd always dreamed of being a Tennessee alum, and he got the chance when he received special treatment at this year's Orange and White game.

Young Trey got the chance to meet Coach Derek Dooley, and even throw passes with quarterback Tyler Bray.

Trey's friends and family also launched a social media campaign on Twitter with the hashtag #prayfortrey.

As of Friday, the hashtag is still updating with tweets from celebrities and pro athletes, including one from New York Jet quarterback Tim Tebow. He posted "You will be missed by many brother but I look forward to seeing you in Heaven one day."
