We are just a few days away from Race Week, and this year's hype is already translating into ticket sales.
That's because changes to the track have many anticipating what this year's BMS racing will look like, and fans are responding to the excitement as well as new camping deals and race week packages.
General Manager Jerry Caldwell says while they haven't sold out of night race tickets yet, sales are strong.
"I don't know that there's anyone more excited than me to see how this is going to play out. Maybe Bruton. But we're all anticipating what's going to happen. It's like Christmas morning for us," he said.
Track officials are putting the last minute touches on the speedway to get ready for the crowds, and according to Caldwell, many fans will buy their tickets on site closer to race time.
The first race of the week kicks off next Wednesday with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
