Wizard of Odd
Beech Grove Baptist Church has formed a drama group called S.P.A.M. (Spiritual Performing Arts Ministry).
SPAM puts on plays enjoyable for for all ages.
Our upcoming play is called "The Wizard of Odd" a take-off of "The Wizard of Oz". It is a comedy / musical meant as both a parody and parable.
The free play is Thursday, September 6th at 6:00; Friday, September 7th at 6:00; and Saturday, September 8th at 2:00. Free popcorn, drinks, and desserts are provided along with child care.

The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is having its 51st Anniversary celebration, Tennessee Valley Railfest ,September 1-2, 2012 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Tickets are $30 for an all weekend access pass per person. Single day admission is $20 for adults and $15 for children. As a general admission ticket add-on, special round trip excursions to Cleveland, TN are also planned for both days leaving at 10 am or 2 pm. Special overnight packages are available at the Chattanooga Choo Choo and can be reserved online at choochoo.com. Grape Harvest Festival
Nolichucky Vineyard will be hosting a Grape Harvest Festival on September 8, 2012 with Grape Harvest Pageant, I Love Lucy™ look-alike contest, Grape Stomping and music by Cody McCarver. General Admission ($10.00) will include one general admission to concert.
