Recyled Fashion Show
Keep Blount Beautiful (KBB) is celebrating 20 years of service by hosting a Recycled Elegance Trash Fashion Show and Celebration.
The event is Saturday, September 22 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Smoky Mountain Heritage Center in Townsend.
Tickets are currently on sale for $50 each at www.brownpapertickets.com cash/check accepted at the KBB office.
KBB is currently accepting fashion show applicants. The entry fee is $100 and the deadline is Friday, August 31, 2012.

Sisters of the Skillet
In 2009, Mary Constantine, the food writer for the Knoxville News-Sentinel contacted Jennifer Alexander, Midday Host for B97.5 FM, about giving away cookbooks on the air. Jennifer loves cooking so she agreed and a wonderful partnership began! Mary came up with the name Sisters of the Skillet and the two ladies have been giving away free cookbooks, culinary prizes and hosting cooking demonstrations around East Tennessee for over two years!
