A U.S. Marine is dead following a motorcycle crash on the stretch of Highway 129 known as 'The Dragon'. The wreck happened at mile marker 7 on Friday.
24-year-old Sean McMillin was pronounced dead at UT Medical Center. The Marine was from Cherry Point, North Carolina.
Investigators say he lost control of his motorcycle in a curve and went about 75 feet down an embankment.
Blount County says it's the 15th traffic fatality in the county this year.
