The United Way of Greater Knoxville held a Halftime Report luncheon on Friday.
The event focused on the amount of money raised as the United Way hits its campaign mid-way point. It hopes to raise $12 million.
As of now, the United Way chapter has raised $6.3 million, which is 53 percent of their overall goal.
