A commision vote in Scott County Monday could be the next step to re-opening that area's only hospital.
It shut down in May.
County leaders have been trying to reach an agreement with a new operator since July to reopen the hospital.
The county and the Texas-based company have worked out a contract that county commission must now approve.
County Mayor Jeff Tibbals says the two parties have agreed on a six year deal. Commission is expected to vote on the contract Monday at 5 p-m.
