Early voters in Knox County are continuing to turn out in large numbers, with 8,786 people casting ballots Tuesday.

So far, 41,229 people have voted early in the past week.

Early voting lasts through Thursday, November 1. To see all the early voting locations, check out the Knox County elections website.

Hours vary between the sites, but most are open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

There is a lot more on the ballot than just the presidential election. You can plan how you'll vote with the help of this sample ballot (pdf).

If you live in Knox County but aren't sure which districts you live in, you can plug your address into this handy tool to discover which county commission, city council, school board, state House and state Senate districts you live in. Also, it'll tell you which voting precinct you live in, and where your polling place will be if you wait to vote on Election Day.

A new state law requires you to have a government-issued photo ID when you arrive at the polls. Those without proper ID can cast a provisional ballot.
