The networks of NBCUniversal will be airing a one-hour benefit telethon Friday night to aid victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The telethon will air on NBC (and WBIR), Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4,
MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA Friday night from 8 to 9 p.m., Eastern.
Network officials said other networks could join the broadcast before
airtime Friday night.
The effort will be hosted by "Today" anchor Matt Lauer and will
donate monies collected to the American Red Cross relief efforts for
those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Scheduled performers include Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy
Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Sting. Jimmy Fallon and Brian Williams are
also scheduled to appear.
