CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Chattanooga are investigating the shooting of four teens at a birthday party where as many as 200 people showed up.
According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, none of the injuries were life-threatening. The four victims went to area hospitals after the incident early Sunday. They are 16, 17 and 19 years old.
The newspaper said a young man who answered the door at the home where the party was held said people involved in a fight inside the home were probably gang members. The fight spilled onto the front lawn where shots were fired.
Police responding to a call about gunfire interviewed numerous people. All of them said they didn't see anything.
The party was for a girl's 14th birthday.
