Alcoa authorities say 51-year-old Joany Diane Burger died in an accidental apartment fire Thursday.
Her identity was released in a press release Sunday by the Alcoa Police Department.
Authorities say the fire on Sanderson Street was accidental.
A firefighter who was injured while jumping from a fire truck in the firefighting efforts was treated over the weekend and is expected to be released soon.

A woman was found dead and a firefighter was injured in an Alcoa apartment fire early Thursday.
The fire happened around 2:00 a.m on the 300 block of Sanderson Street.
The Alcoa Fire Chief tells 10News crews found heavy smoke confined to the living room when they arrived at the apartment.
Firefighters found a female in the back part of the apartment who was deceased.
An Alcoa firefighter was injured when he jumped down off a firetruck. He was taken to the hospital to treat his injured ankle.
