No one was injured during an attempted robbery at a convenience store in North Knoxville Sunday afternoon.
Knoxville police responded to the attempted robbery at Ken Jo Markets on Merchants Drive shortly after 1:30 p.m.
According to a KID release, a man walked into the store, threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded cash from the register. When customers walked into the store, the suspect took off on foot.
Authorities are not releasing additional details at this time.
