More red light cameras will soon be handing out tickets in Knoxville.
The 30 day warning
period for the cameras installed at the intersection of Kingston Pike
and Montvue Road will begin on Friday, March 8.
The 30 day warning period for the camera monitored intersection of
Western Avenue at Ed Shouse Drive will
begin on Wednesday, March 13.
The camera monitored intersection of Parkside Drive at Lovell Road will begin the 30 day warning period until March 31.
During this 30 day period, only warnings will be issued to motorists who violate the law by running the red light. After that, violators will get a ticket in the mail.
