Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres doesn't let a little back pain get her down. Ellen is hosting her shows on Tuesday (Ryan Seacrest) and Wednesday (Lindsay Lohan) from her set on an adjustable bed.

?No, I?m not being lazy..I wasn?t planning on starting this until at least season 7 (being in a bed). I?m forced to bed rest right now and let me just start by saying, I?m on pills. So I had been joking about it a month ago because I had a bad back then a couple of days ago. I?m walking and I was on one level of a parking lot and there was another level that looked to be about three feet down. Now, I assessed the situation. I looked at it and I said OK, that?s about 3 feet. I?m 49 divided by 7 so I think I can jump it. So I jump, and I land and when I hit the ground my brain?s going 49, 49, 49, and something happened when I hit the ground. It wasn?t that bad. It was actually OK.

Then, yesterday morning I?m sitting in the kitchen and I lean down to pick up my dog who weighs about the size of a sandwich. A good size sandwich. Not a heavy dog. Midway picking up the dog I felt a tear?I tore a ligament and did something to something else. That?s what happened and they said that I?m not able to sit, to move or to do anything?. The plane show, going from Los Angeles to New York was supposed to be in a couple days. We can?t do that now, so we have to postpone the show.

This is not a sweeps stunt or anything like that. This is not like what ?Regis? did---?that whole by-pass surgery? (laughing.) So that?s the deal. Ironically, this is the ?I Like it Show.? It?s all about things I like and I like being in bed but not when I?m forced to be?this is not how I like it...? said talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

Along with her guests, Ellen welcomes her doctor, Fred Lerner D.C. from Cedars-Sinai, and 22-year-old Frankie Conrad, an ER technician, who took special care of the talk show host.

On doctor's orders, DeGeneres can't travel so she will have to re-schedule the "show on a plane" which was scheduled to tape this Thursday and a planned trip to a charity event in Chicago.
