Ashley Nicole Joy Paine, 12, of Oak Ridge went to her heavenly home Sunday, November 11, 2007. She was born December 26, 1994 in Oak Ridge, the daughter of Donnie and Laurie Paine. Ashley was a 7th grader at Robertsville Middle School where she was active in the Titan's Club, enjoyed singing in her school chorus and had been a member of the track team in the past. She was also a member of Midway Baptist Church in Clinton which included involvement with the youth group and several activities such as camping at the Bill Rice Ranch. She was a beautiful, vibrant girl who loved playing basketball, softball, flag football and most of all soccer with the AYSO teams. Her goal in life was to 'Save the World' and she accomplished that goal by donating her organs to several recipients so that she can continue to live in us all. She loved helping others and is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: Brothers, Daved Eben Paine-Steele, age 12 and 7th grader at Cherokee Middle School and Tyler Austin Paine, age 19 months; Sisters, Alexis Lea Paine, age 11 and 6th grader at Robertsville Middle School and Kaitlan Alyssa Paine, age 8 and 3rd grader at Linden Elementary School. She is also survived by maternal grandparents, Stan and Judy Price of Oak Ridge; paternal grandmother, Sandy Paine of Oak Ridge; Great grandmothers, Mary Price of Double Adobe, AZ, Jeanette Price of Colorado and Lucy Link of California and numerous extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services are Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 8pm at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Donald Dunn officiating. Graveside services are Friday at 4pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the Ashley Paine Memorial Fund, c/o Calvary Baptist Church, 163 N. Jefferson Circle, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 - 8pm at Weatherford Mortuary. An on-line guest book can be signed at www.weatherfordmortuary.com.
