Brownlow Lofts to break ground in February 2008

Brian Conley and Cardinal Enterprises bought the old Brownlow Elementary School, stating they planned to turn the empty building into condos.

Monday, Conley announced he will make good on his promise.

Conley says 40 percent of the units were sold at the October auction. Buyers were told the condos would not be constructed without enough interest to fund the project.

Last week, buyers received e-mails from the developers informing them the project would proceed.

Construction is expected to start on the condos in February 2008.

Conley is partnering with Kinsey Probasco and Hays on the Brownlow Lofts.
