In another tight game, the University of Tennessee fell to the Razorbacks, ending their run in the Southeastern Conference Tournament 92-91.
With about nine minutes left in the game, the Volunteers started to pull away, but Arkansas went on an 11-2 run with 6:00 to play and tie the game, from there it was back and forth down the stretch.
Tennessee found themselves down one with less than 24 seconds to play, but possession of the ball.
JaJuan Smith got the ball in the paint and put it home to put UT up, but Arkansas came back. Steven Hill hit a shot with 5 seconds to play. It was his only basket of the game.
Tennessee had a last chance effort but with defenders draped around him, Chris Lofton couldn't repeat Friday's three point heroics.
A trio led the Vols against Arkansas Saturday night at Georgia Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
Tyler Smith finished with 24 points, Chris Lofton added 25, and JaJuan Smith tossed in 18.
In what may have felt more hollow than a traditional SEC semi-final match-up, the game itself proved to be dramatic, even if there weren't many fans in the seats to see it.
Because of a tornado that tore through downtown Atlanta and the Georgia Dome, conference officials were forced to move the game to Georgia Tech's Coliseum, a much smaller venue.
Because of that, many fans with tickets got refunds. In an effort to make it fair, the conference only allowed family members of athletes and spirit squad members inside the venue for semi-final action Saturday.
Friday, more than 20,000 people say UT's dramatic win over South Carolina. Saturday, only about 2,000 witnessed the game against the Razorbacks.
