Knoxville woman's road to recovery from pill addiction

Kim is in her third and final month of treatment at Brookhaven Retreat. She willingly went to the all-women facility two months ago for pill and alcohol addiction. Brookhaven not only treats women in Kim's situation for the addiction, but emotional issues as well.

Kim says she went through years of pill and alcohol abuse and refused to see it for herself until she was arrested for drinking and driving. That was her turning point.

She is going through a divorce she says her addiction caused. On the bright side, Kim is looking forward to spending time with her daughter when she leaves Brookhaven.
