People across East Tennessee woke up to a light layer of snow on Tuesday morning. It was the second day of the white stuff for most of the area.

Many counties reported slick roads and some accidents. Luckily all the wrecks were without injuries. The counties had prepared for the winter weather by salting roads early and often.

Dispatchers from Knox County reported the worst conditions on main roads. Broadway and Kingston Pike were trouble spots.

Some school systems were closed including Knox, Sevier, Blount, and Anderson Counties. For a complete listing of all closings follow the link at the top of the main wbir.com page.

Also some major employers were closed including Dollywood. The Department of Energy is on liberal leave today. For any business closings, contact the business directly.

The U.S. District Court is also closed today.
