Tennessee Volunteers sophomore wide receiver Ahmad Paige is out of the hospital and is expected to completely recover from a scary encounter with the brick walls at Neyland Stadium.
Near the end of Friday night's first spring practice in pads, Paige ran into the brick wall in the south end zone of Neyland Stadium, and lay motionless for a long time before he was placed on a stretcher and taken to UT Medical Center.
Early Saturday morning, the University released the following statement from head athletic trainer Jason McVeigh:
"Ahmad Paige was transported to UT Hospital for precautionary studies. All tests returned normal; He was released from the hospital Friday evening and is expected to make a full recovery."
