Motel targeted in early morning armed robbery

Knoxville Police Department received a call a little after 3:30 am from Executive Inn at 3400 Chapman Highway saying that the clerk had been victim of an armed robbery.

According to the KPD, two suspects were wearing masks as they jumped the counter and attacked and robbed the victim.

The first suspect is described as a black male with a muscular build standing 5'10" tall and weighing 175 lbs. In addition to the plastic mask, he was wearing a black hoodie, jeans, and white tennis shoes. He was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol.

The second suspect is described as a black male standing 5'8" tall and weighing 150 lbs. Also wearing a mask, he had on a black hoodie and jeans. He was armed with a silver revolver.
