A second East Tennessee business was struck by a car Saturday afternoon after an elderly woman lost control of her vehicle in Alcoa.

Blount County E-911 said an elderly woman became confused and lost control of her vehicle shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurant on Hamilton Crossing in Alcoa.

Five Guys general manager Bill Brock said the woman drove the car over the curb and hit the corner of the building.

Brock said the car broke some windows and came a little ways into the building.

The restaurant is still open for business.
