A stabbing that left a teenager and police custody and an adult injured was under investigation Saturday night, Knoxville police said.
The stabbing was reported just before 9:00 on Emoriland Boulevard near Whittle Springs Road.
Officers said a 16-year-old was arguing with an adult when the teen stabbed the adult with the handle of a car jack.
The victim was found bleeding profusely and was treated for an injury to the arm.
The teen was arrested.
