Kentucky State Police are investigating the attempted kidnapping of a 9-year-old girl in Knox County, Ky.

Police responded to the call of an attempted kidnapping around 6 p.m. Monday on Evergreen Road in the Flat Lick community.

The man is believed to be about 5 feet 9 inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark-green T-shirt, blue jeans, brown work boots and a ski mask.
