A concert turned fracas has resulted in the arrest of ten people and shut down the concert venue.

A concert starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Valarium (doors opening at 3) was supposed to run all night. But a fight broke out inside.

Police say when the club's bouncers tried to intervene, they found the band and crowd had turned on them.

The fight spilled out into the parking lot.

Knoxville Police got the emergency call around 3:30, and officers arrived to find several people fighting in a large crowd.

Ten people have been arrested, on charges including everything from disorderly conduct to inciting a riot.

The club has closed for the day as a result.

There's no word at this point on whether the 10 for $10 concert, featuring ten bands, will be rescheduled.

There's also no word at this point which band police are saying got involved in the melee.

One of the bands, This Is Hell, indicated on Twitter that the show would go on for them and fellow 10 for $10 band Crime in Stereo, in a performance at a house on Amherst Road.
